Babette Cox

Babette is a nationally acknowledged artist whose diverse talents include works in polymer clay, painting, mixed media collage, beading, rubber stamping, fused glass and metal clay jewelry design.

Her work has been published in the following books:  “Stamp Artistry”, “The Stamp Artist’s Project Book”, and in four Design Original books: “Stamping Polymer Clay & Wire”, “Paper Play”, “Beading with Leather”, and “Collage Cards”.

She is in numerous magazines, including Bead Trends, Somerset Studio, Rubberstampmadness, 1001 Decorating & Craft Ideas, The Studio, Stamper’s Sampler, Art Stamp Journal, The Rubber Stamper, and Rubber Stampin’ Retailer.   She also made a video, Making Paste Papers.

She exhibits locally and teaches and demonstrates at trade shows nationally as a certified professional demonstrator (CPD) and teacher (CPT), earning her certifications through The Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) in 1996. She has been a teacher of adults for over 15 years.

In 2004 she achieved Level I and II certifications with Precious Metal Clay, and in 2006 she certified as an Art Clay Silver instructor.  In addition to artistic pursuits, her occupation is digitizing though her company, Digit Designs.  By using computer technology, she digitizes corporate logos into embroidery stitches that can be sewn in embroidery shops on shirts, jackets and gift items.
